America is an example of an extreme MEDC, with a neighbouring LEDC. Mexicans want to emigrate to America in order to have the opportunity of a better way of life. The Americans see this as a threat, and this article shows the extremes that they will resort to to prevent it. The American authorities feel able to justify the killing of unarmed civilians in their own country, but in any other situation this would be seen as an aggressive act. In my opinion, the agent acted unfairly and had no right to shoot the boy. To help reduce illegal immigration, america could supply mexico with economic help, or liberalise the border, and overtime immigration would decrease.
ReplyDeleteNOO.. lethal force should not be allowed unless in extreme circumstances (life or death) .. however laws, penalties and fines should be enforced!
ReplyDeleteLethal force is harsh, but the mexicans shouldnt have abused the border control when they had such strict rules.
