Year 12 Work

Calling all Year 12 Geographers!
You have been given a Practical Skills Booklet in your lessons this week. The tasks detailed below make up the missed lessons with Mr Smith and Mrs Hinde-Taylor. The tasks should therefore take between 4-5 hours (taking prep time into account too).

You need to make sure that the following is completed for the first lesson back after half term:

• The entirety of section 1 graphical skills- this needs to be read, highlighted, all exercises completed and your own notes taken down on lined paper to add into your files. You also need to complete the two examination assignments at the end of the section.

• In section 2, you need to read through pages 16-19 (out of 26) on standard deviation and correlations. Again, you need to make notes, highlight key points and complete any exercises.

It is vitally important that you complete all of the set work as the skills learnt will be in your skills paper in the November Assessment Week.

If you find anything difficult, please post-it note the pages ready to discuss this in the first lesson back.
