To help you position yourself well for Year 13 geography,
complete the following over the holiday.
1.
Watch the film “5 broken cameras”. This is an
interesting perspective on the Israel Palestine conflict.
2.
Borrow or buy a copy of the A2 course text:
AQA A2 Geography: Textbook by Amanda Barker, David Redfern
and Malcolm Skinner
It would
also be very handy to have access to Integrated Approach (Waugh) for the
physical geography sections.
3. Read the sections of the A2 book you
will be studying: Plate tec, Conflict, Development and Weather.
4. Keep a news file about conflicts.
In particular, keep anything about Israel/Palestine, HS2 and Heathrow, and any
articles about separatism.
